GraphMaker’s editor processes pasted and uploaded graph data in your browser. The application does not require an account or cloud database.

Local projects

Your project is automatically saved in IndexedDB on this device as you edit. Save locally also lets you save immediately. Download project backup exports a portable copy you can import later. Clearing browser storage can remove locally saved projects. The tree editor keeps separate drafts when Remember my diagrams on this device is checked. Unchecking removes that editor’s saved drafts and keeps them only in memory until the page closes. A small browser preference remembers your choice; draft contents are not uploaded.

Project files and exports

Files you import are read by the browser. Graph images, data exports, and project files are downloaded directly to your device.

Usage analytics

Google Analytics records page visits and general browser, device, and referral information. GraphMaker does not send spreadsheet cells, graph values, uploaded-file contents, project names, or exported data to Google Analytics. For Google Analytics, advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled.

Google Analytics may set cookies or similar identifiers to measure visits and distinguish browsers. These page-visit measurements are separate from your graph data, which is never sent to a GraphMaker server. The analytics script loads when a page opens.

Google advertising services

GraphMaker loads the Google AdSense script. When ads are served, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website or other websites. Google's advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and other sites on the Internet.

Advertising providers may place or read cookies and use web beacons, IP addresses, browser information, and similar identifiers to deliver and measure ads. Other third-party advertising vendors or networks may also use cookies when their ads are served. These advertising services are separate from the Google Analytics settings described above.

Learn how Google uses information from partner sites in Google's partner-site privacy information and read Google's Privacy Policy.

Advertising choices

You can manage or opt out of Google's personalized advertising through My Ad Center. You can also opt out of personalized advertising from participating third-party providers through YourAdChoices. These choices do not necessarily stop all ads or the use of identifiers for purposes such as fraud prevention and measurement.

Your browser settings can block or delete cookies and other site storage. Clearing site storage can also delete GraphMaker projects saved locally; export a project file first if you need a backup.
